We have rented 599 Talbot St. in St. Thomas and will be in there on June 1st. If anyone would like to come and help us clean up and decorate, you will be most welcome.
These buns are a Serbian specialty which my husband’s aunt taught me to make when she was here for our son’s wedding. They are not a croissant but they are rolled up like one. Delicious fresh from the oven or later, too. I have brought these to Inn Out of the Cold. No complaints yet!

My sister gave me a bag of scraps from her many sewing and quilting projects. In it were lots of cut squares which I started arranging by theme and colour. Here is the first one that came together; a nice boy’s quilt.
If you sew, you probably have a stash of material just sitting around waiting for the right thing to make. If it’s 100% cotton and you’re willing to pre-wash and iron it, we would be glad to put it to use making children’s comfort quilts.
